Our May General Meeting will take place at Bliss Salon on DW Highway on Monday, May 19th. We will be enjoying refreshments as the salon generously donates their time to cut and style our donors' hair. Remember that this event is open to club members and non-members, so please extend the invitation to your friends, co-workers, and families. There will be at least one raffle by Ways and Means, featuring Mary Kay products. Come see the salon, talk with friends, and help our town.

Locks for Love needs 10 inches of hair. This is from the top of a ponytail to the tip of the hair. Hair cannot be bleached or highlighted. It can be permed or colored. Grey hair is also accepted. Appointments can be made by calling the salon at 262-9300. Appointments begin at 6PM and take an hour. Forms will be available to fill out for your hair donation and shipping will be done by the salon and Service.

One last thing! The annual Hike Against Hunger has been cancelled due to lack of sponsorship. The NH Food Bank's usual sponsors are unable to help this year due to the current economy. As a result, the NH Food Bank will suffer not only the lowest donations they have ever had, but no way to recoup any of it. We will be collecting non-perishable food items at the Salon on the evening of the Drive to donate to the NH Food Bank. Please remember that the NH Food Bank stocks the soup kitchens and food pantries all over the state, including 3 in our town: St John Neuman, Riverside Community Church, and St. Joseph Community Services. Donations can also be left at Melissa's house.
