In addition to our social and charitable activities, Merrimack Friends and Families actively participate in service projects for the community. This club year we have many diverse service activities planned. We hope to offer a wide assortment of activities to include everyone in the club in some form or another.

In August 2009, MFF assisted the Town of Merrimack Welfare Department in providing backpacks stuffed with school supplies for children of families in need. This project has been very successful in past years and was just as successful this 7th year the club has participated.

In September, MFF held a blood drive at the Red Cross center in Manchester.

In October, the club raised money and walked in the annual Greater Nashua Humane Society's Walktoberfest at Anheiser Busch. Also in October, the club collected items off of the Humane Society's wish list.

In November, we collected food items for St. James' food pantry, and we held a stuffed animal drive for the holiday food boxes at St. John Neumann's food pantry.

In January, we collected items for Marguerite's Place, and in February, we are donating our time at the Family OutFITters Thrift Store in Manchester.

Stay tuned for more upcoming events and ways you can help!
