Interest Groups

All activities will follow CDC, state, and local recommendations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

MFF Interest Groups vary year to year depending on volunteers who step up to lead them.  Listed below are examples of interest groups we have had over the years.  For more information on our interest groups please contact interestgroups@merrimackfriendsfamilies.org

Monthly Mingle

A chance for our adult and/or couples to get out for an evening with friends from MFF. This could be anything from trying out local restaurants, a comedy or theater show, dancing, or even a night in at a member's house.

Book Club

A book is selected monthly to be leisurely read, followed by a stimulating conversation...perhaps over lunch, over coffee, or maybe a potluck at a member's home.

Out to Lunch
Ladies get together at a local restaurant for either breakfast or lunch.

Game Night
Come and play with us at a member's home! If there is ever a buy-in, a portion will go to our charitable fund. Games will vary, as could skill level, each month. Usually no skill is required!

Fitness Friends
A support group helping members in attaining their health and weight loss goals.

Crafts & Conversation
If you're interested in knitting, crocheting, sewing, beads, or any other craft projects, but would prefer to do it with friends, this is the group for you!

Ladies' Night Out
Ladies enjoy an evening out for dinner, movies, bowling or even getting together to work on Christmas wrapping or card writing. Fun is had by all.

Secret Sisters
Participants will complete a questionnaire about their likes/dislikes in September and then be assigned, randomly, a Secret Sister to give small gifts to each month for the club year... secretly, of course! Throughout the year parties are held so that all of the Secret Sisters can get together. At the end of the year, your Secret Sister will be revealed to you.

Recipe Swap
Here is your chance to show off your favorite recipe and share with all. Every month is a different theme, so it is always a treat!
